OUR STORY

We're just a couple of cool (at least in our opinion!) New Yorkers who met each other in July 2021 and found out that we have so much in common, especially our love of delicious food and amazing restaurant experiences! After eating together at so many of the great restaurants NYC has to offer, we decided why not add an extra layer of fun to our date nights and share our dining experiences with the world? Or more realistically, probably the only readers of this blog - our moms and that random person who stumbled upon this site by accident (maybe that random person is you!).

Be warned though - professional and sophisticated food critics we are not! We're more likely to describe a dish as "yummy" instead of any of the various other words you could use to describe food. We struggle to pronounce "au poivre," and at least one of us just learned that "antipasti" is not Italian for "opposite of pasta." But we love food and that's all that matters! :)
